You can view the partial eclipse anywhere, but safety first!

This year's solar eclipse is the first since 2017, and our last chance to see a total solar eclipse for 20 years, according to NASA. The totality portion of the eclipse will last 4 minutes and 28 seconds, according to weather.gov. The entire event from start to finish will take about 2.5 hours, according to Exploratorium.edu.

Eclipse glasses are a must if you'd like to look at the sun on April 8th, because the UV intensity is much higher during an eclipse and can cause serious damage to the eye if not wearing protection. All Brevard County libraries have free eclipse glasses provided by NASA while supplies last.

39th Annual Melbourne Art Fest:

Calling all art enthusiasts! Prepare to be dazzled by the vibrant colors and creative energy of the 39th Annual Melbourne Art Fest, happening on April 27th and 28th. With talented artists showcasing their works from near and far, this festival is a feast for the eyes and there's something for everyone to enjoy at this artsy extravaganza!
